The 11th International Conference on Logic, Rationality and Interaction (LORI 2027) will be held at Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, on October 23–26, 2027.
LORI is a leading international forum for interdisciplinary research on logic, rationality, information, interaction, and related areas spanning philosophy, computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, linguistics, and cognitive science.
The conference aims to foster communication and collaboration among researchers working on the foundations and applications of logic and rational reasoning.
The Department of Philosophy, Sichuan University, was founded in 1910 and reestablished in 1959 as one of the seven philosophy departments in China at that time.
Following authorization of the first-level master's degree in 2006, the philosophy program was designated as a national-level distinctive program in 2009; then it received first-level doctorate authorization in 2010, and began enrolling top-tier undergraduate students in 2019.
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary of reestablishment in 2019, the Department regained independent departmental status within Sichuan University.
In 2021, it was selected as a national first-class undergraduate program, and in 2023, the "Mingyuan Academy—Top-Tier Philosophy Student Cultivation Base" was listed into the first batch of provincial-level bases for cultivating top-tier students in basic disciplines in Sichuan Province.
